“Cañón” nació del cansancio y de ese impulso que aparece cuando callar duele más que hablar.
Buscando un espacio para respirar, se convirtió en el punto de partida de una banda colombiana que, tras años en distintos proyectos, decidió empezar de nuevo, esta vez reflejando todo lo aprendido en una sola descarga.

[EN] It started with noise. Then came the need to let it out.
“Cañón” was born out of exhaustion and that impulse that shows up when staying quiet hurts more than speaking.
Searching for a space to breathe, it became the starting point for a Colombian band that, after years in other projects, decided to begin again, channelling everything they’ve lived into one sharp burst.

[ES] Cañón es una nueva banda de rock alternativo formada por Jairo Meza, Hernán Díaz, Diego Vásquez y Diego Sierra. Aunque este es su debut, sus integrantes vienen de años de escenario, grabación y carretera.
Su música toma elementos del rock de los noventa, el punk emocional y el indie latino, sin buscar etiquetas.

[EN] Cañón is a new alternative rock band from Colombia, formed by Jairo Meza, Hernán Díaz, Diego Vásquez, and Diego Sierra. Though this marks their debut, each member brings years of stage time, recordings, and road stories. Their sound blends the raw edge of ‘90s rock, the heart of emotional punk, and the pulse of Latin indie, without chasing labels.
