The track was born during the creative cycle of The Future Sugar (2015). This album shaped Rey Pila’s identity and led to their connection with Julian Casablancas, who later supported their work through Cult Records. Ten years later, that early seed returns through the band’s current sound: sharper, more electronic, still precise.

Tiene la nostalgia del periodo The Future Sugar y, al mismo tiempo, la estética que han desarrollado en años recientes con Velox Veritas, Estado de Fuerza y Están Strange I. Es una pieza que mira atrás sin quedarse ahí, un puente entre etapas que conserva la esencia del sonido de la banda. Una forma de cerrar una década, recuperar lo que quedó suelto y seguir avanzando. [EN] “Inside My Brain” links two stages of Rey Pila. It carries the nostalgia of the Future Sugar era and the aesthetic they have been building over the past few years with Velox Veritas, Estado de Fuerza, and Están Strange I. The track looks back without staying there, a bridge between phases that preserves the band’s core identity. It works as a way of closing a decade, bringing forward what was left unfinished and moving on with intention. A reading of their own history from where they stand now.
[ES] El estreno también prepara el terreno para la cita del 13 de diciembre en el Foro Puebla, donde Rey Pila celebrará los diez años de The Future Sugar tocando el álbum completo y revisitando ese repertorio que marcó un giro en su historia. A la noche se suman Casablanca Drivers y Vacíos Cuerpos, ampliando el diálogo del show hacia otras escenas. Los franceses llegan en un momento especial, presentando nuevo material producido por Nit (Sébastien Tellier, ColaBoy) y guiado por la mirada de Alexandre Courtes, uno de los nombres fuertes del video musical europeo.

[EN] This release also sets the tone for the December 13 show at Foro Puebla, where Rey Pila will celebrate the tenth anniversary of The Future Sugar, performing the whole album and revisiting the repertoire that marked a shift in their trajectory. Casablanca Drivers and Vacíos Cuerpos join the night, widening the dialogue toward new scenes. The French band arrives at a key moment, presenting new material produced by Nit (Sébastien Tellier, ColaBoy) and shaped by Alexandre Courtes, one of the defining figures in European music video art.
