Bogotá welcomes Kaputt Festival Futuro, a bold new festival launching on April 24 and 25 at Proyecto Kinder. Far more than an event, it combines dancing with thought-provoking experiences.

While technically an “electronic music festival,” that label only hints at the main goal of Kaputt Festival Futuro, or KFF. The festival begins at 4 p.m. with workshops, talks, live coding, film, and listening sessions before moving into the night. From its opening, KFF actively asks: what kind of influence can this festival have, beyond being a show? Its purpose is to create a lasting space for cultural exchange.

Proyecto Kinder, formerly a school in Chapinero, is a fitting venue for future-focused conversations—while maintaining its legacy of Kaputt Festival Futuro: music, ideas, community
learning through new activities.

For years, Bogotá has quietly been a key spot in Latin America’s electronic music scene. KFF is counting on that same energy to shine during the day.

Two days, two rhythms

Each day has two parts. In the afternoon, the Future Lab turns the venue into a temporary campus for talks, interactive sessions, and experimental projects that connect day and night. As evening comes, the Future Ritual fills the rooms with a lineup that treats local and international artists as equals, mixing them together and letting their music interact.

38 talks and showcases, 23 international DJs, 58 national DJs, 11 live acts—more than just a lineup, it’s a statement.

A place to cross ideas

In a city with plenty of nightlife but little conversation about it, KFF offers something different: a festival that brings people together to meet, discuss, and learn. It’s a place where the music community can connect during the day with the same energy they share on the dancefloor at 2 a.m.

This choice is central to the festival’s main goal. The Latin American electronic scene has long had ideas that go beyond one night. Through KFF, space is intentionally created for conversations, community, and imagination. Because culture can shape futures together, this festival’s main purpose is to champion that collective vision.
