Tricky Returns to North America After 8 Years. Toronto, October 8.
Eight years is a long time. When Tricky last toured North America, trip-hop had faded and he was mostly remembered by fans from the nineties. This fall, he’s returning with a new album. Different When It’s Silent, his fifteenth record, comes out July 17th.
The tour starts on September 16th in Detroit and travels through cities like Los Angeles, Vancouver, Seattle, and Brooklyn before reaching Toronto on October 8th at Danforth Music Hall. This isn’t just a nostalgia tour. Tricky is an artist who has kept creating, coming back to a place where people may have lost touch with his work.
