Her new EP, 35 ESTE, is a four-track bomb that explores hunger, rage, desire, and power—unfiltered, uncensored, unapologetic. It speaks from the whole body.

Ella creció en la calle 35 Este. Y de ahí parte todo. Esa calle es territorio, memoria, herida y punto de partida. Con una fusión que va del rap al drill, del rock al dembow, con raíces afrodominicanas vibrando detrás de cada verso, esta artista construye su historia a puro pulmón y a todo volumen. She grew up on 35th Street East. That’s where it all begins. That street is territory, memory, wound, and starting point. Blending rap, drill, rock, and dembow, with Afro-Dominican roots pulsing behind every verse, she builds her story with raw lungs and max volume. The production is rough, direct, powerful. No aim to please. Only urgency to speak. No makeup. Just truth, rhythm, and courage. And that’s something to thank. To celebrate. To play loud.

MAÑE Es la reafirmación de identidad. La artista no quiere encajar, quiere ser. Y lo es, con todas sus letras / Is pure self-affirmation. She doesn’t want to fit in — she wants to be. And she is, loud and proud.
El Dinero que Llueva Invoca abundancia desde la carencia. No es frivolidad: es deseo de justicia. Una afirmación de merecimiento / Calls for abundance from a place of scarcity. It’s not superficial — it’s a demand for justice. A declaration of worth.
Eto No e una Tiradera Es puro fuego interno. No tira a nadie, no responde a nadie. No necesita. Simplemente se expande / Is internal fire. It’s not aimed at anyone. It’s not a diss. It’s just her being massive, unapologetically.

Escucharla también es entender que cada elección sonora, cada cruce entre ternura y violencia, es una declaración política. Y como ella misma lo dice:

“Para mí, mezclar flauta con barras, sensualidad con crítica social, es un acto político.
Y también creo que el lenguaje tiene una sola función: comunicar.
Si siendo explícita conecto, incomodo y se entiende lo que quiero decir,
entonces la comunicación fue efectiva.”

Listening to her is also understanding that every musical choice, every blend of softness and fury, is a political statement. As she puts it:

“For me, mixing flute with bars, sensuality with social criticism, is a political act.
I also believe language has only one job: to communicate.
If being explicit helps me connect, provoke, and be understood,
then the message got through.”
