Nacida del encuentro entre cuatro artistas del sur del país que migraron a la capital, esta agrupación no solo somatiza el caos de Bogotá: lo transforma en arte sonoro. Lo suyo vibra como un solo organismo que pulsa, piensa y se desafía. Su sonido cruza hemiolas, amalgamas rítmicas, riffs filosos, jazz libre, rock alternativo y texturas progresivas. Pero también hay poesía, teatro, arte vivo. Y aun así, tratar de definirla sería limitarla. Buha 2030 es, ante todo, una experiencia.
Formed by four artists from southern Colombia who migrated to Bogotá, Buha 2030 doesn’t just channel the chaos of the city; it turns it into sonic art. They create a living, breathing body that thinks, pulses and challenges itself. Their sound blends hemiolas, complex rhythmic patterns, sharp riffs, free jazz, alternative rock, and progressive textures. But there’s also poetry, theatre, and performance art. And yet, calling them a «band» feels reductive. Buha 2030 is, above all, an experience.

Su presencia en Rock al Parque 2025, como parte de la selección distrital, no es un cupo: es la consecuencia natural de su coherencia, búsqueda y trabajo colectivo.
After years of performing, touring, and weaving creative ties in Colombia and Chile, they’ve become one of the most compelling and solid projects in the current independent scene. Their inclusion in Rock al Parque 2025’s local selection isn’t a «slot» or a «reward»; it’s the natural result of their consistency, collective vision, and deep commitment.
Amoral Inmortal e Iboga
Descubrimos a Buha 2030 con Amoral Inmortal, un disco que nos golpeó con su extrañeza y su belleza. Una rareza preciosa que no nació del papel, sino del cuerpo. Compuesto tocando, improvisando, escuchándose mutuamente. Es decir, habitando el sonido. Un artefacto sonoro que también es político, sensual, urbano y ancestral.
We discovered Buha 2030 through Amoral Immortal, an album that stunned us with its strangeness and beauty. It didn’t come from the page; it came from the body. Composed through improvisation and mutual listening. In other words, a sound is inhabited. A sonic artifact that’s as political as it is sensual, urban and ancestral.

Y justo cuando volvíamos a sumergirnos en ese universo, llegó Iboga, su nuevo álbum lanzado la semana pasada. En palabras de la banda, no es un disco para escuchar de fondo, sino “un llamado a amar el cuerpo, valorar el tiempo y celebrar la fractura”. Iboga se desmarca del virtuosismo para compartir un sonido que alimenta: el sonido del dolor, del amor, del escándalo, el sonido de Pasto, el sonido del sur.
And just as we were diving back into that 2021 record, Iboga arrived, their new album, released just last week. In the band’s own words, it’s «not a record to play in the background; it’s a call to love the body, value time, celebrate the fracture.» With Iboga, they move away from technical showmanship and instead offer sound as nourishment: the sound of pain, of love, of noise, of Pasto, of the South.
