After years as a backing vocalist for artists such as Hubert Lenoir, Charlotte Cardin, Clay and Friends, and Dominique Fils-Aimé, Hawa B earned a GAMIQ award with her EP, «Sadder but Better.» Her debut solo album, Better Sad Than Sorry (November 2024, Duprince Records), confirmed her as one of the most distinctive voices in the Canadian scene.
