Verias Smith doesn’t want to sound like everyone else, and he’s doing something about it. Unbelievable You is the final track from his debut EP, a project recorded entirely on analogue tape and free from digital perfection. It’s part of a creative movement Smith calls Heartcore, a commitment to raw, unfiltered performances made with real instruments and emotional truth.

“This is the only antidote to everyone sounding the same,” says Smith. “I’ve moved away from the world of autotune and the same old sampled tracks. Now, I work exclusively with real performances and analogue equipment, capturing the true heart and soul of a purely human experience.”

Produced by Greg Carrillo at Unit A Productions in Nashville, Unbelievable You blends emotional grit with Smith’s alt-rock roots. It closes out a six-song release cycle, delivered monthly throughout 2025, and leads into a new tour across the East Coast and Midwest in 2025–2026. Smith’s journey runs deep. He played legendary East Coast venues like The Paradise Rock Club and The Middle East, studied Irish traditional music under Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin, and busked across Europe in the ’90s. After years in the industry, he returns with a sharpened voice and renewed purpose.
