Bogotá finally got the Friday it deserved. From the very first night of its first edition, it was obvious this festival was something different.

As soon as you walked in, you saw bright faces, people moving freely, and knowing looks exchanged between strangers. This was real happiness, the kind that happens when everything comes together perfectly.

The music kept the energy high all night. The artists and DJs were chosen with care and kept the vibe going strong. Each set seemed to know exactly what the crowd needed, whether it was to rise, let go, get lost, or find themselves.

Kaputt was more than just music; it was a place to experiment with the senses. Visual displays changed the spaces, playing with how people saw things and surrounding the crowd in moods that shifted from hypnotic to thoughtful. Each area offered something new to feel and explore.

What made the festival even more interesting were the details. There were spaces designed for different experiences and a thoughtful food selection. The vegetarian options showed real respect for the environment and for everyone attending.

You can always tell when the organizers truly care about what they’re doing. Friday night at the Kinder proved it.

A first edition isn’t supposed to feel this well put together. As Saturday goes on, the big question is whether a festival with this kind of vision can become something Bogotá looks forward to every year. All signs say yes.
