Sometimes you want something quiet, but not something that makes you stand still. Revay arrived on a day like that and delivered exactly what was needed.

She has Punjabi roots and lives in Vancouver. These two worlds don’t explain each other; they simply exist together. She named her EP Nasha, which means intoxicated, and didn’t feel the need to translate it. For production, she worked with Grammy winner Chin Injeti. That alone shows the level of artist she is.

Nasha doesn’t warn you that it’s about to hook you. It starts quietly, with an effortless pulse, and before you know it, you’re three songs in without realizing you never pressed pause. That’s the challenge: music that feels light but has depth, sounds relaxed but moves you, asks nothing from you but still keeps you listening.

She says it’s a world where her inner artist can truly shine, and you can hear that. Nothing feels forced or tries to be more than it is. These are just songs with personality, groove, and something intriguing you can’t quite name. And that’s okay. Some things are better left unexplained.

Give it a listen. If you want something that won’t make you sleepy or overwhelm you, Revay has already taken care of that.
